
LIGHT AND DARK
Before christmas, about 5 minutes after we had moved in, we redecorated our lounge. The terracotta red walls and dingy ceiling were replaced for Farrow and Ball shades of grey, including a dark chimney breast, stone coloured walls and satin grey architraves. We purchased a beautiful chesterfield in tan leather for one end of the room and a linen sofa with leather piping for the other side. TIME FOR A REFRESH
So although we should be focussing all our efforts on decorating the nursery ready for our new arrival in July, my 'hormones' told me it was also important to have a sanctuary to relax in in the weeks leading up to the big day (or night).
