GARDEN DESIGN PROCESS
INITIAL MEETING

We always like to start the garden design process with an initial face to face meeting. Here, we will talk you through our full design process in further detail, as well as discuss your requirements for your outside space. Wherever possible, we shall also use this opportunity to take measurements of the existing garden, although it will sometimes be necessary to outsource a full survey.

INITIAL CONCEPT

Following our on—site discussion, the next step will be for us to put together an initial concept board and a summary brief. These will be sent to you via email, along with a fee proposal for you to approve. We like to send the initial concept board before you commit to using our services, so that you can be confident we will fulfil your brief and design an outside space reflective of your needs and preferences.
FULL DESIGN

From this point forward, the exact design process will vary from project to project, however we will ensure that you are given clear breakdown before any work commences and we will tailor everything to your needs.
Generally speaking however, we shall put together a design plan, which will include 3D visualisations, proposed materials and planting positions and style.
We shall liaise with other trades where required, for instance to provide electrical plans or any aspects of tree surgery. We shall present the design concept to you, along with an estimate for carrying out all of the works.
The design fees include a full set of revisions as standard, so now is a good opportunity to sit down and chat everything through. We encourage you to provide as much feedback as possible at this stage, as ultimately we want to design a garden you will be completely satisfied with.

INSTALLATION

Once everything has been approved, we shall set a date for the installation!
We carry out as much of the works as possible using our in house team, however we also work with a range of carefully vetted contractors who carry out more specialist tasks.
We will liaise with all other tradespersons, so you don’t need to worry about who will be turning up when and have multiple invoices to pay. We always see this as the most exciting stage of the process, where all of the ideas come to frutition and we can create or new outside space.
